EP started out from a heartbreak. Two years later today, I am glad, grateful the way certain things have panned out.
I would like to think we have crafted a certain something in this crazy market that is Singapore. A certain sense, aesthetic, identity, footing, sense of fulfillment.
I am happy. Because of the streaming in of clients that understand/appreciates the value of my work, because of the beautiful office we share and its beautiful environment, maybe even the idea that bills are starting to get paid better on time. I am happy.
As such, I am going to take EP a step forward and a step back. A step forward, in terms of effort, quality, in finish. By taking on even lesser clients, by commission only. For clients who truly appreciate my work. A step backwards by being going back to the core of why I want to do this. Not to be a master photographer who shoots 100 weddings a year, but one who enjoys, relaxes, and quietly documenting this little celebration of us. By taking on projects that impact people’s lives, by leaving them a memory imprint of a moment in time. To remember. To savor.
Its the beginning of the end.
